About the Job:
Our Marketing & Design teams have a unique job opportunity that combines graphic design with web development. The successful candidate will create and publish marketing collateral that supports our brand. They will have the opportunity to work with and learn from skilled professionals who get the needs, ins and outs of the live event industry. They will be highly creative on the design side and detail oriented with the code they write. If an applicant has strong graphic design experience and has interest in becoming a basic web developer, we are willing to train. We know this position is a bit of a unicorn, but hey, the product we offer is also a bit of a unicorn because there is no one out there capable of doing everything we do.

You Will:
  • Oversee brand use to ensure alignment with atVenu’s vision and goals; with leader sign-off.
  • Create and own templates for marketing collateral; socials, one pagers, website pieces, emails, decks.
  • Manage Hubspot, the system of choice for email templates and analytics.
  • Complete renderings of product and 3d photo realistic rendering; may they be from pictures taken and/or the creation of pictures with the use of images.
  • Provide design support to the Operations team for product materials and help documents.
  • Lead the web design process from initial concept development to site content implementation, inclusive of website coding and troubleshooting, ensuring it is responsive, user-friendly and optimized for performance.
  • Help design and maintain the data insights on the marketing website through visuals and embedded code graphs.
  • Own the design process from development to creation of animations of our product for demo or marketing site use and/or for various marketing campaign projects.
You Should Have:
  • A minimum of 5 years progressive design experience, preferably across mobile and web-based platforms.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your ability to design (and potentially code) using 3D modeling/rendering, CAD modeling and Adobe Suite. Our favored programs are Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Cinema4d, Blender, Fusion360, Pasticity, Webflow, React, JavaScript and NextJS.
  • Demonstrated ability to concisely communicate design concepts from creative pitches through design specification guidelines; written and in person.
  • High confidence in employing design thinking processes, knowing where to spend time and when to jump forward, while not compromising quality.
  • Experience with Hubspot is a must; experience with React, Webflow, and Figma would be ideal.
  • Desire to be part of a fast-paced and high-performing environment; there is a need for quick turnaround in asset creation.
  • Proven ability to think critically and creatively; present ideas with confidence and clarity.
  • Desire to be in a role that you are able to build out and add responsibility where you see fit.
Portfolio Requirement / Coding Assessment:
All applicants are required to provide a portfolio of work completed, ideally via a link. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.

If the applicant has coding experience, an example of work completed may also be requested and/or a coding assignment may be required.
