Account Manager, UK & Europe
Job Title: Account Manager, UK & Europe
Reports To: Director, UK & Europe
About the Job:
Following a successful first year of focused operations across Europe, atVenu is expanding its UK team. We are excited to introduce a newly created Account Manager, UK & Europe role—a customer-facing position that blends technical support, hardware management, and logistics coordination.
In this role, you will support live event clients and ensure atVenu Register hardware is properly maintained, prepared, and ready for deployment. You’ll work closely with both new and existing clients and may also help grow our customer base through referrals and strong client relationships.
atVenu is a highly collaborative, cross-functional organization with team members across Canada, the United States, and the UK. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a multi–time-zone environment, excels at engaging customers—even under pressure—and brings exceptional attention to detail.
You Will:
Front‑Line Support
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Provide technical, real-time remote support to atVenu’s clients during live-events
- Handle client questions via email, in a timely manner and with professionalism
- Partner with the US Customer Experience team on matters pertaining to the UK and Europe
- Identify recurring issues and suggest enhancements to documentation or processes to reduce future support tickets
Hardware Preparation & Maintenance
- Maintain accurate hardware inventory, ensuring equipment is ready for quick deployment
- Assemble and test complete atVenu Register kits
- Use device management tools (e.g. JAMF) to update and configure hardware
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Create and maintain packing slips, and manage outbound/inbound shipments
- Inspect returned equipment for damage or missing parts; maintain precise records
You Should Have:
- 3+ years in the live-event merchandise, events, or venue operations space; preferably in a customer-facing and/or technical support capacity
- Proven ability to work with/troubleshoot Apple iOS, Android, and related peripherals
- Some experience with shipping/receiving across the UK, Europe, and the United States
- Strong communication and organisational skills; your attention to detail while juggling multiple tasks, under tight deadlines, is a must
- An eagerness to learn about our products, our industry and the clients we serve
- A ‘no job is too small or too big’ mentality; we are a tight team, and everyone has to be willing to lend a hand, or accept one
- Familiarity with helpdesk, device management, project-management, or CRM tools, preferred
- Previous atVenu experience, a bonus
Physical requirements:
There is a lot of moving and lifting of equipment in this role. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 18kg and move pelican cases up to 55kg.
Location & Hours:
The role is based in Didsbury, Manchester, UK. There will be some flexibility to working remotely, but it will be limited due to the hardware component of the role. Because live events work to a tight schedule, there will be occasional out of business hours support required, in/out of the office.
Compensation:
atVenu is an equal opportunity employer who pays competitive wages and provides comprehensive benefits.
